Leander is an Austin suburb located north of Cedar Park.  The fact that the 183A tollroad extends almost to Leander makes it easy for those who commute to Austin for work.

Leander Conveniences

Leander  has come a long way in the last 10 years.  A very large HEB grocery store has groceries and a lot more.  Lowe’s, located a few blocks away, has do it yourselfers or the construction industry shouting for joy after having to drive for miles to purchase lumber and hardware for the home.  Leander has most of the conveniences you’ll find in Austin.

Leander Schools

Children have the privilege of going to school in the very outstanding Leander ISD.  Younger children attend one of several elementary schools.  There are several middle schools in the Leander area.  High school students can attend Leander High.

Leander Commute

Although Leander is north of Cedar Park, it’s easy to drive to work in Austin or Round Rock.  With Highway 183A stretching to Leander, it’s within minutes of downtown Austin.  Hop on the toll road and you can drive to  South Austin by way of 183A and Loop 1 with virtually no stops!  If one works in Round Rock the 45 Tollroad is quickly reached by way of 183 or 183A.
