Allandale Homes
Once considered North Austin, Allandale is now considered a close-in neighborhood. Allandale is now a much desired area of Austin, once considered north Austin but now considered a close-in part of town. I love the laid-back, unpretentious atmosphere. I like Allandale’s mid-century modern architecture that many of the homes still embrace. I love Shoal Creek and the large trees that make this area of Austin so attractive.

Allandale is on the eastern side of Loop 1 (Mopac) which makes a commute to downtown or to north Austin or Round Rock a quick trip. A Randalls grocery store, a couple of banks, and several fine eating establishments are just west of Allandale. And of course there’s shopping all along Burnet Road, which is to the east.
Allandale Amenities
Allandale is very close to the Northwest Recreation Center and embraces embraces Northwest Park, which has numerous tennis courts, and Northwest Little League Field.
Shoal Creek, which runs through the center of Allandale, makes a beautiful setting for those homes that back to this well-known Austin creek. A few of these homes are on very large lots.
